The Marriage Licence is to be obtained
from the District Office in Rakiraki.
This is open from Monday to Friday
(excluding public holidays) 9am – 12noon.
Approximately 30-minutes is required for this procedure.
Once at the resort we will help
arrange appointment and transfers to and from the
District Office.
You are required to bring
the following papers:

If previously Married – A copy of divorce

of former Spouse |

A Catholic service requires documentation
from your Local Parish Priest |

Written declaration, signed by a Justice of
the Peace (JP), Nortay Public or solicitor known
as a Single Status Certificate stating that
the people are not currently married. |

Persons under 21 years need written consent
from the father or mother |
